Find Out What's Going On.
The
Philadelphia Triathlon Club has once again partnered with club member Bill
Hauser’s Mid-Atlantic Multisport coaching business to co-sponsor
Mid-Atlantic Multisport’s 2007 Triathlon Boot Camps. These
three-day multisport clinics and training camps feature interactive
classroom presentations, supervised group training sessions and individual
video analysis and feedback.
Two
Triathlon Boot Camps will be offered in 2007 -- a beginners’ camp on March
23rd-25th and a camp for experienced athletes on
March 30th-April 1st. Both camps will be based out
of ACAC Fitness & Wellness Center in Chester County, PA.
The camp
staff includes Coach Bill, six-time Ironman champion Ken Glah,
professional triathlete and coach Todd Wiley and Philadelphia Triathlon
Club member and coach Pamela Morris. Together, Bill, Ken, Todd and Pamela
have more than 80 years of coaching and racing experience.
As a
Philadelphia Triathlon Club member, you are entitled to a $100 discount
when you register for either camp by January 31, 2007. For more
information on the camps, and to take advantage of the discounted
registration, visit
www.midatlanticmultisport.com/phillytriclub.htm.
For you
self-coached athletes out there, Mid-Atlantic Multisport is also offering
club members a 15% discount on its RoadMAP service. RoadMAP is
perfect for the athlete who wants some professional guidance in developing
his or her training program, but who may not desire or need the level of
coaching involvement included as part of an ongoing coaching
relationship. For more details on Mid-Atlantic Multisport’s RoadMAP
service, visit

Triathlon - The Philly Tri is less than a month away! We won the team
competition last year, and we expect to put up some pretty huge numbers
again. Look for the green and gold on the course, and make sure you stop by
the tailgate after the race.

Introducing
the Guy's Team Referral Discount Program - Know someone who's looking to
buy some gear? Guy's Bicycles has developed business card-size Team Referral
Cards, which outline bike and helmet discounts your friends can get when
they shop at Guy's. The program is simple: Carry a few cards in your wallet.
When a friend, co-worker, or family member is shopping for a bike, give them
a Discount Card (be sure to sign and date the card). When your referrals
come to the store, they can hand over your card for extra good care and a
discount. At the end of the year, the team member who provides the most
referrals will get a cash prize of at least $100. If you'd like some cards
to pass out, just e-mail Suzanne at suzanne@guysbicycles.com.
Volunteers
- This is your club and we need your
talent. Anyone who is interested in helping us out, the club can use your
help. We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with group level
workouts, the website, and the social committee team. Please contact Chris
at cmchugh@turnerinvestments.com < mailto:cmchugh@turnerinvestments.com>
if you are interested.
