Great day yesterday at Black Bear. To all who raced, congratulations. Hope you achieved your goals. To Renee & James, thanks for setting up the tent. It was a great place to hang out and spectate and meet up with others in attendance whether they raced the sprint, volunteered, or were just there to cheer and offer support. Debbie and I enjoyed the great weather by riding the sprint course. I don't think we impeded or offended TOO many of those riding the half-iron course when we were on the common sections. Kudos to all who conquered those hills! Glad I didn't have to run afterwards. Chatted with a few club members doing the half while on the bike and rooted on those I saw passing by our tent near the finish line. For those of you I didn't see, hope you knew we were supporting your efforts nonetheless. Sorry Debbie and I couldn't stay but our kids were calling and we had to head back to "rescue" the grandparents from dealing with them all weekend. Hope to catch all of you at another event or race soon.

Great Race~So Many Hills
Raced this past weekend at The Black Bear! I have to mention the great support and volunteers they had on the run portion of the race. Those cold towels were the key to any great race. Hopefully this race will become a popular one to test the limits. Congrats to all those who raced!
